Savory Crescent Squares

3 oz. cream cheese
3 T. butter or margarine, melted - divide 2 T. and 1 T.
2 cups cooked, finely cubed chicken
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 T. milk
1 T. finely chopped onion
8 oz. can crescent rolls
chicken stuffing mix

Blend cream cheese and 2 T. butter until smooth. Add next 5 ingredients. Separate crescent rolls into 4 rectangles. Spoon 1/2 cup chicken mixture onto center of each rectangle. Bring 4 corners of dough to center and twist slightly; seal the edges. Roll these in remaining butter and sprinkle with stuffing mix. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes.

Serves 4.
